Appearance: Transparent red-brown with an off-white froth.

Aroma: Caramel, toast, tangerines, and flowers.

Taste: Generic amber malt qualities, minimal caramel sweetness, touches of nuts but nothing of the ordinary. Some citrus in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Well carbonated with a reasonably bitter hopped finish.

Drinkability: Easy but dull.

Pours a clear, dark cherrywood reddish brown topped with a inch or so of bone-colored froth.
The nose exudes toasted grain, vague caramel sweetness, and citric and floral hop elements.
Tastewise, more of the same. Of the proclaimed seven-grains (and I never got an exact answer as to what they all are), wheat comes out with a minor lemony character, and rye adds faint pepper. Otherwise, it's all standard amber fare, toasted nuts and caramel. Decently hopped with a emphasis on citrus.
It's thinnish in feel, and the carbonation peters out after a few minutes.
All told, it's a run-of-the-mill amber. It okay to wash some food down with, but I had hopes for more nuance and intrigue.
