Served in a shaker pint glass at the Madison brewpub.
Another entry in my pre-interview extravaganza. It pours a clear blackened copper topped by around a finger of white micro-foam. The nose comprises rye crust, light caramel, flowers, and mixed greens. The taste holds notes of rye toast, sourdough, light caramel, and those pesky mixed greens. The body is a light medium, with a light carbonation and a wet feel. Overall, a decent red, about as strong an offering as Purdue is for the Big Ten itself (...okay, maybe not THAT bad...).
