Dark, rusty brown color with a small tan head. Aroma is weak to me but somewhat fruity and bready. Taste has a lot more earthy flavors but not grassy more grainy imo. Begins malty but not too sweet, yeast flavors kick in a smooth transition. Finish is super dry and cuts all the flavors. Very smooth, somewhat creamy, and extremely easy to drink. A nice alt here.

Earthy, that one word pretty well sums this beer up. It looks like the earth, smells like the earth, tastes likes the earth, and feels like the earth.

By earth I mean dirt, and some leaves and toffees and maybe a worm or two.

This beer doesn’t do much for me. I didn’t dislike anything about it but I also didn’t particularly like much about it either. I’m glad I tried it but won’t waste my time with it again when better beers from the Dane are so readily available.

Earthy.

Scarlet brown under the remnants of a khaki head.
Grassy hop whafts with tree bark and touches of toffee.
Incredibly earthy inside the mouth. Virtually devoid of any sweetness. Rides in with stems, dirt and dried leaves. Well-lagered cleanness with touches of grain interjected towards the middle along with a dusting of bitter cocoa powder. Turns grassier towards the end and finishes outright herbal. Dry, dry, dry.
Streaming carbonation with a medium build.
A pretty good stab at an alt, but ultimately a bit too much like falling mouth-first into a pile of raked leaves.
