Draft at Cumberland.
Poured black color with an average fizzy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a dry creamy texture. Medium roasted sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
This is a good drinkable brew.

Had this beer at Cumberland Brews brewery on tap. Pours a dark brown with a small head that doesn't have much retention and doesn't leave much lacing on the glass. The aroma is mild, but there are some roasted malts in there. The flavor was smooth and well-bodied. Chocolate and slight coffee characters. kmpitz2 and I agreed that this one was very much like the porter - very much like it. Highly drinkable and enjoyable.

The beer came off the tap a deep bown color with a finger of head that fell tocoat the beer. The nose was weak chocolate, not really strong and not much more in there than that. The flavor was chocolatey and creamy and smooth. I found it to be rather similar to the porter. The feel was right around moderate, with some creamybess. All in all, this beer was another nice offering from Cumberland. I have not been disappointed with their beers. We even had a chance to chat with Matt, the head brewer, as we finished out beers. A very nice guy that tollerated us very well after a good day of imbibement.
