Copenhagen 17/10 2020. 50 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh NV. Blue label with som sheep and goats and a little chubby snow man celebrating an early Christmas. No elk in sight.
Pours slightly unclear with a big white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with malty, weet odor mingling with spicy and floral notes. Sweet pale malts with hints of caramel. Ginger, gale and mint.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderata bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is minty.
A bit too spicy and herbal for my taste. Not very elk-like.
