Copenhagen 5/3 2022. 50 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Easter yellow label with tiny, Easter inspired motifs like eggs, dancing lambs and so on.
Pours unclear orange with a mid-sized white head. Stable.Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of grass and citrus. Sweet, pale malts, Brad and grains. Lemongrass and grass.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate but distinct bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a strong sweet undertone Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A quite malty take on an Indian Pale Ale.
