Copenhagen 15/3 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Classic looking label in green with a rendering of a mechanic solar system.
Pours clear dark maroon with a big off-white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet and with a burnt tinge. Caramel, toffee, licorice, malts, alcohol. Odor has a burnt quality to it.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively texture.
Flavor has a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for awhile. Burnt, semi-dry finish.
Fine, sweet, slightly boozy bock.
