Copenhagen 15/2 2020. 33 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh NV. Green label with a circle of Mjölner hammers.
Pours murky dark maroon with a small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, sweetish with a sourish twist and a little bit boozy. Grains, malt and bread. Caramel and brown sugar. Sharp sourish bitter edge. Metallic odor of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish but with a quite strong bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Middle of the road Danish Christmas Beer. Quite boozy for a beer with an ABV of only 7. So you could say that you got some value for your money.
