Copenhagen 21/10 2025. 50 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Simple label in dark burgundy with a black circle with the name of the beer in white letters-
Pours clear mahogany with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin patch of foam floating in the middel of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling wth a bit of alcohol. Sweet caramel and a bit of brown sugar. Dark bread. Raisins and plums.
Light carbonation, Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a srong sweetness followed by more moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly. Finish is a tad thin.
Dubbel with a touch of dark fruit and Christmas.
