Thy National Park is characterized by unspoiled dune landscapes. Here, the sand drift of recent centuries has created beautiful landforms, often with some of Denmark's cleanest lakes. With this rare beauty in mind, we have created a soft and friendly beer with great freshness like the wind blowing over the dune heath and with fine flavor notes from the national park's herbs and fruits.
The fresh and mild flavor comes from porcini, rosehip and sea buckthorn, which acquire a particularly aromatic and intense flavor on the windswept dune heath.
The light acidity from the sea buckthorn gives this wonderful, easy-to-drink beer memories of a good white wine. It is therefore particularly suitable for dishes with shellfish and light fish.
Recommended serving temperature 6-8°C

Copenhagen 27/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Føtex. Very colorful collection of inedible stuff found in Thy National Park which has found it’s way into this New Nordic mixture without any hops.
Pours clear amber with quite a big white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam.
Aroma is very herbal with buckthorn and quite distinct bog myrtle. The buckthorn actually gives it some sharp bitterness.
Light carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by light acidic sourness. Not very intense - and without much aftertaste.
I like the idea of trying to compose a beer of what is available in a given biotope - but I am a little disappointed as this is quite thin.
