With its Påske Ale, the brewer has created a full-bodied and malty beer that complements the delicacies of the Easter table in the best way. The malts used give a slightly higher residual sweetness, while the American hops contribute a refined, fruity aroma. The brew is brewed with candy in the storage tank to promote further fermentation.
Brewed from barley malt, wheat malt, candy and hops.

Copenhagen 8/3 2017. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Easter Golden label with silhouette of a Chicken. It does not get anymore Easter-like than that.
Pours cloudy golden yellow with big white head. Lacing on the side of the glass. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of creamy foam.
Aroma is quite sour. Sour citrus, alcohol, sweet touch of vanilla and caramel. Fruity.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet with hints of sugar. Followed by medium sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with sweet undercurrent.
Quite refreshing - kinda reminds me of an Saison. Hides it substantial ABV very well. Good brew for the money.
