The English beer type Brown Ale is always popular with the Danes because of its mild and round taste with a little sweetness from the caramel malt used.
Brown Eyed Girl is brewed with English top yeast, which adds extra refinement. It has a good mouthfeel and a mild aromatic taste.
Brown Eyed Girl is a nice "cozy beer", but also goes well with burgers, roasts and rich cheeses.

Copenhagen 14/6 2018, 50 cl bottle from Føtex. The label looks like wallpaper from a Retro Seventies Disco.
Pours clear light brown with a small, white and bubbly head. Settles as a thin patches of thin foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sweetish yet spicy. Nuts, caramel, toffee, light hints of smoke, tobacco, burned malts, bitter chocolate.
Light carbonation. Thin and watery texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter and fairly short.
I am not sure that this is what Van Morrison means by "a Brown Eyed Girl" - but it is a nice bitter Brown Ale without overdoing it.
