Copenhagen 12/10 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Handful of buckthorn on the label to signify that we are dealing with new Nordic beer here.
Pours clear yellow with a white head. Stable. Settles as a thin layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is rather sour - like my socks -and with a metallic edge of alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation and a palate like vinegar.
Flavor is unpleasantly fruity bitter. It actually taste like buckthorn supplemented by a sourness which reminds me of inadequate personal hygiene.
More special than good. The terms on the label - "aromatic and mouthwatering" seems pretty misplaced. New Nordic will be the death of me!
