The second in the series is a light Belgian Tripel. It is a strong, slightly sweet beer spiced with a good portion of our lovely porse. In this type of beer, a good part of the character comes from the Belgian top yeast, which adds exciting spicy notes to the taste.
It is a beer that can easily be enjoyed alone, but together with a good cheese, it really comes into its own.
Thisted Tripel (2) is one of the newest beers in the range, as it came to the market in the summer of 2013.

Copenhagen 1/12 2015. 50 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Plain black label with the number 2 in purple and the name of the beer in white letters.
Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Bubbly. Disappears fairly fast. No lacing.
Aroma is quite boozy with a harsh bitterness. You can actually smell the porse advertised on the label.
Medium strong carbonation and oily palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is sweet and a bit sugary malts with a sharp boozy aftertaste.
Kind of reminds me of other high alcohol Danish beers which are way too sweet and packed with alcohol.
