Copenhagen 16/11 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh. NV. A big pile of crushed beehive on the label to symbolize that you are about to digest a honey beer.
Pours clear honey yellow with a white head. Settles as a flimsy thin layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is quite sweet. Could actually be the smell of honey. Some tart berries peeking in as well.
Medium strong carbonation and a viscous palate. Gently tingling texture
Flavor is sweet and sugary and quite honey-like. Strangely metallic tang. Aftertaste is quite sweet as well with only very moderate bitterness for balance.
Bees and wasps will be crazy about this in the autumn - I will settle for a solitary bottle.
