The hot-tempered members of the British House of Commons are best calmed down with a "lager" - a light bottom-fermented beer with the addition of 3 English hops. Bottom-fermented and dry-hopped.

Copenhagen 16/1 2016. 50 cl bottle from Netto, Stærevej, Kbh. NV. Some sort of comment on the House of Commons. Some shouting members of the House on the label.
Pours clear yellow with a big white head. Stablr. Settles as a 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is malty sweet with distinct metallic notes of alcohol. Sweet pale malts and bread. Sharp scent of grains and alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Lively texture.
Flavor is sugary, malty and unpleasantly metallic. Aftertaste is sweet and staying with me for too long.
Might work as an anaesthetic measure to calm down frothing members of the House but that does not make it a pleasant experience. Like many strong Danish lager beers way too sweet and metallic.
