A: Pours a murky orange/copper color with a two-finger off-white rocky head. Nice lacing as the head slowly fades. (There seems to be an unfiltered trend in Russia right now, so I don't know if the murkiness has anything to do with that, or not.)
S: Sweet malt and just a hint of noble hops. Perhaps a touch of yeast, though that may be the appearance leading me.
T: Very nice. Rich flavor. A sweet start leads to a well-balanced middle as the hops make their appearance. The finish, as well as the aftertaste, is sweet, but not cloyingly so.
M: Full-bodied, but the more-than-usual carbonation effectively offsets that.
D: If I didn't have to walk home, I'd drink several of these in a sitting.

Joker Märzen comes out clear copper under a two finger off white head that settles quickly and leaves only some spotty lace. The nose is full of sweet malt. The body is medium, with a good balance of carbonation. The opening features a nice malty sweetness, with a touch of caramel. A very slight hoppiness breaks up the malt, but it doesn't last. The aftertaste is sweet and malty. This is a very good rendition of the style, and a most quaffable brew.
