Canned on 06-13-18; consumed on 06-14-18 - so you pretty much can't get it any fresher than this.
A: Poured from the can into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is hazy, juicy golden with a 1-finger white head on top that retains well - and leaves behind good foamy lace.
S: Juicy pineapple and piney, raw green hops.
T: Follows the nose, with modest pineapple up front, then finishing with bitter raw, green hops that linger on the roof of the mouth. A little bit thin in both feel and taste. Lingering bitterness is surprisingly raw for a NE-style IPA; I suspect that this beer may benefit from a few more days in the can - i.e., at about 24 hours old, it's just too fresh.
M: Juicy in feel, a little bit on the thin side (as noted above).
O: Not a bad take on the style, just more bitter and raw than I usually like.
