375 ml corked & caged bottle. no date, but I purchased at the brewery about 8 months ago.
label states "American Wild Ale aged in bourbon barrels with macerated cherries and orange zest"
pours a very dark amber color with orange highlights. off-white colored head, pretty good head retention, and some lacing on the glass. aroma of tart cherry and a touch of citrus. similar flavor in the taste. fairly sour, but not unpleasantly so. long finish. thin to medium bodied, the carbonation is fine and smooth.

Ruddy looking central column of amber, and brighter vermillion on the periphery. Strong oak and tart cherry aroma. Orange bitters, soft vanilla notes; and, tannins of strawberry, blackberry and cherry. The body remains light and smooth with only the slightest hint of dryness.
