500 ml corked and caged bottle. no date, but bought about a year ago.
label: brewed with local blueberries, local elderberries, and earl grey tea.
pours a clear bright fuschia color - pink with purple hues. foamy white head that fades to a thin ring around the glass. all the ingredients are there in the nose - summer fruit and black tea. more blueberry than elderberry which is usually very strong but not so here. taste is only mildly tart, and moderately complex. starts fruity then finishes with a bit of tannic dryness. thinner bodied, fizzy carbonation.
