Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a clear amber color. There were ample bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. It has a dense off-white head on it. The nose is milder, with mostly caramel malt notes. There was no real sweetness to it, but a fairly decent malt body to it. Balanced and nice. A good drinker.

Served from a 64 oz. growler into a dimple pint. The color is copper/amber with quite a few bubbles in there, and a white head that lingers, leaving a nice lacing on the glass. The smell is dominated by the honey sweetness with just a touch of warming alcohol. The taste is definitely strong with honey sweetness from the honey malt, followed by a touch of noble hopping and a warming though slightly numbing alcohol blast. Mouthfeel is average. As for drinkability, have a few but the overly noticable alcohol makes it hard to have too many.
A very nice maibock, with such a strong honey sweetness and a good bit of hoppiness. While it's definitely strong on alcohol that prevents serious drinkability, for a few of these it's a fantastic beer and one I'd be quite glad to have again.

Bright golden color with an off-white head. The aroma is light and hoppy with a hint of sweetness. The taste is very malty and sweet, with good hops to finish it off. Lingering sweetness with an interplay of hops in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is smooth and the drinkability is good. A very solid beer.
