From my notes:
Served at the brewery, this was my first for the night and a great way to lead off. 10 oz snifter with a two glass limit.
Hazy amber color with a smallish white head that faded pretty quick.
Smells of fruit, sweet. Sour,too!
Tasty beer. Its quite tart and there are a lot of fruits here. Maybe some grapes, plus a little bit of yeast flavor, too. Noticable but not overwhelming alcohol towards the finish.
Mouthfeel is light, slightly warming and quite crisp. Its quite drinkable too, but one is enough for me, as its quite strong and there are plenty more beers on the menu. Strong and tasty!

Served at Red Star in a snifter. The color was a hazy golden, with a wispy head. The smell was candi sugar sweet with some yeast to it. The taste was a strong but not cloying sweetness, with a banana clove element to it, and there was very little alcohol taste present. Mouthfeel was average. As for drinkability, this is one I could have several of.
Another great creation from Jeff and the folks at Red Star. A solid tripel that stays just right in the sweetness. One that I hope I'll be having some other time in the future.
