Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin ivory head with pretty good retention. Minimal lacing. Aroma of grassy hops. Light-bodied and fizzy with mild hops and malt flavors. The finish is effervescent and mildly bitter. Typical of the "starter" Lager at many a brewpub.

Appearance: Pale golden straw color thin white head leaves thin even rings of lacing, average appearance. Aroma: Light cereal grain sweetness touch of grassiness and kiss of German hops nice light. Taste: Extremely crisp and flavorful for a light sweetness is nice no grainy offness no corn or rice in your face and a nice hop bitterness is evident good light beer. Mouthfeel: Light bodied decent carbonation perfect easy drinking. Drinkability: A really nice session light beer that has two row malt sweetness and hop flavor, excellent for the style top notch in my book.

Served as a 5 oz. sample at the Red Star Brewery. The color was a light gold, with a slight head. The smell was a light malt. The taste was a nice light malt with a decent mellow hoppiness. Mouthfeel was average. Drinkability-wise, I might actually consider one more.

This may actually have been the best micro light lager that I've had. Though not a great beer, for the style it's quite worthwhile, and though I may not have it again, I'd recommend it to others.

This pale golden beer pours with a bright white head that quickly fades to a thin foam. The aroma has a hint of malt sweetness. The flavor is very light and crisp, with nice hop bitterness on the finish, especially notable for a light beer. This is a very solid light beer that I could drink on a regular basis of need be. It has a very smooth mouthfeel and is very refreshing. The clean finish and light flavor make it very drinkable. An excellent light beer, but not a favorite.
