From my notes:
Served at the brewery pint glass, on nitro. I got this to go with my margherita pizza, since, what goes better with pizza than pale ale.
The nitro really rampd up the appearance on this one. It looks crisp and clear with a creamy two finger head that sticks around for a long time.
Smells of hops with a little bit of sweetness too. I'm reallly looking to the first sip!
Taste is very good. This is well balanced with a good hop presence that does not overwhelm. Nice hop bite on the finish.
Mouthfeel is creamy (thanks again nitro) with a little crispness. This is a good beer I could drink all night.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear amber color with a creamy and thin light beige head. Lacing coats the whole glass. Floral hops aroma, with a touch of fruit. Medium body, with a nice hoppy flavor. There is a good amount of malt and citrus flavor as well. The finish is hoppy and bitter and lasts. Pretty enjoyable all around.

Reviewed on Jan 29 at Brewery, served in a large pint glass.
Amber in color with a full amount of head on top of the body.
Cloudy beer.
Little hop to it, however, has a small bite to it.
A decent American Pale Ale, not the greatest, however, the nitro-tap opens it up a little more than the rest.
Worth trying.

A: Amber in color with a big sticky dense white head that lasts forever and leaves suds everywhere.
S: Hop aroma dominates, and is rather floral and done very nicely. Malt smells are faint.
T: Hoppy! Very nice citrusy hop flavor that is bitter but not overly so. Malty flavors are subdued and keep a nice balance going.
M: Smooth and creamy from the nitro draught. A wee bit on the dry side. Alcohol gives a nice warmth but isn't very noticeable.
D&N: Very nice beer! Smooth and tasty and locally brewed. What more could you want?

Served in a 5 ounce sampler. Dull amber color with a dense white head from the nitro. Aroma is of citrusy hops. The taste is definitely heavy on the hops side, but with a caramel malt taste in the background. Friend described it as Sierra Nevada meets Guinness, and I think that's a good description. Very smooth and drinkable, I could see myself drinking a few of these if I had the time. First APA I've ever had on nitro, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

Appearance: Light copper amber tone with a nicely formed creamy resilient white head coats the glass very nice look to it. Aroma: Citrus pine hop combo I am sensing some Cascades in this APA solid malt backbone sweetness as well, balanced. Taste: Solid APA sufficient citrus hop twang slight caramel honey sweet malts to balance, nice all around. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied light and fluffier textured due to the Nitro tap but it's a decent beer nonetheless. Drinkability: A very nice beer especially if introducing somebody to the taste of hops, I could drink in session just not while the IPA is flowing at the same time.

Served as a 5 oz. sample at Red Star. The color was copper, with a nice head. The smell was a nice citrusy hop. The taste was citrus hops, with a nice caramel malt in the background. Mouthfeel was average. Drinkability-wise, could have a few.
Not a bad pale ale at all. Didn't see the point of the nitro on this beer, but otherwise, nice and something I'd have again.

The beer is a slightly amber, hazy color. Dense, thick head of small bubbles, as is typical with nitro beers. Hop aroma is that of citrusy hops. There is a strong underlying malt base, but the hops are very strong. The beer is good, but it is lacking a little bit of balance. Unlike something like a Stone, The hops are just there. Good, but could be better.

This deep amber APA is poured from a nitro draught system, thus creating a very tight, white head that shows almost indefinite retention. The aroma has a nice Cascade citrus bite to it. The taste is noticably hoppy and very lively. Strong grapefruit notes atop a strong malt base that lends a touch of sweetness to the finish. With the nitro draught, the mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth and full. A pleasant bitterness lingers around for the aftertaste, lending to the high drinkability of this beer. A great APA. Very impressive for a small brew pub.
