Draught @ Red Star: This one pours a clear coppery color with a small off white head. The head drops off rather quickly. The aroma is a bit mild, but pleasant. Notes of floral, some grassiness, some malts and a hint of corn. This beer has a medium body. Has a touch of sweet malts to the taste, along with some fruitiness and maybe a hint of corn sweetness. Slightly dry finish. A good session beer.

This is actually a Red Lager that is fermeneted at ale temps, providing an interesting flavor profile with an exceptional clean finish. The medium amber beer with reddish highlights pours with a minimal head. The aroma was very faint, with just a hint of malt. The flavor is exceptionally fruity, and brought to mind caramel apples. Blueberry notes also creep into the flavor. A very solid malt body provides a touch of sweetness. Despite all the flavor, the finish is exceptionally clean with virtually no aftertaste. This is a very intruiging yet very drinakble beer. If it only exhinited some aroma up front, it would be far better than the average beer.
