Presentation: Sampled on draft at the Santa Fe Hops Brewhouse on Friday 9th July after a long day at work.
Appearance: Hazed yellow body with a large white head, rather typical of a brewhouse Wheat Beer.
Nose: Lemons and cloves with some raw wheat in the back end when deeply inhaled.
Taste: Wheat body with some light fruit and a fresh clove taste in the lemony back end. The classic brewpub wheat, nothing outstanding, but very dependable.
Mouthfeel: Nice carbonation assists a light body in lending a wholesome wheat feel.
Drinkability: The light body and refreshing tastes when chilled, means that this slakes a thirst extremely well and is easily quaffed.
Overall: A great first beer of the day that quenches the thirst extremely well.
