Presentation: Sampled on draft at the Santa Fe Hops Brewhouse on Friday 9th July after a long day at work.

Appearance: Dark ruby red body with a rich deep cherrywood hue. Off white head that soon breaks down and leaves some lacing.

Nose: Light in strength but sickly. Sweet malts and an annoying clinical odor, smells like a home brewed Red served in a recently disinfected Hospital Ward.

Taste: Sweet malts again, but the annoying clinical smell thankfully was nowhere to be tasted. Cloying in the middle and a sticky finish.

Mouthfeel: Decent carbonation again assists a light body and helps in lending a decent body to what is a rather average beer.

Drinkability: The sweetness and the off putting smell is just too much at times. I shared a Pitcher of this with friends, and only poured a half Pint thank goodness.

Overall: I am not a big fan of Reds in general, but when they are sticky and sweet I can easily leave them, as I did this one. Not a fan.
