Called a Golden Ale on the menu, reminded me basically of a blonde ale. The only description on the menu is "Custom-blended by Magic Hat Brewery", but this is a beer brewed by Magic Hat specifically for Quality Meats in NYC. Awesome steakhouse, one of the best I've been to.
16 oz. pour in a fancy stange type glass.
a - Pours a hazy golden-yellow color with two fingers of fluffy bright white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of grains, wheat, earthy notes, light floral hops, and light fruits. Nice; not too much going on, but nice.
t - tastes of wheat, grains, bread, earthy notes, yeast, light spice, and light floral hops. Less fruit and a little bland. Not bad, just not a lot going on.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. ABV seems relatively low, and it is pretty easy to drink.
o - Overall a decent blonde ale; not a bad beer at all, though nothing that would really make me order a second one. A little bland, personally I'd go with wine or one of their other options next time.
