Hop Drip is a medium-bodied American IPA. A subtle, intriguing coffee flavor percolates through the senses, and a rush of citrus and grapefruit from the hops finish the brew.

New original beer. I probably couldn't drink a lot, but would like one in the fridge for after work.

Taste like AA meeting burnt coffee and cigarettes.

So, I was in Burlington, VT, and decided to check out Magic Hat brewery in South Burlington. I had samples of 4 beers and bought growlers of two. One of those two was Hop Drip. Basically, its a flavored IPA and the flavor is coffee. Its not an extremely hoppy IPA, and tastes a little more like an APA. The coffee flavor is light and subtle but you can taste it in every sip and isn't overpowering. It seems like this beer would go great with 8AM football tailgaiting, where drinking a breakfast stout would just bee too heavy. On average, It has slightly more carbonation than a normal beer and feels fizzy in my mouth. I feel like this beer has a lot of air to it and its not the easiest beer to drink a lot of. However, its nice to have a coffee beer that isn't a porter or a stout, so hit tip my metaphorical hat to Mgic Hat for coming up with an original idea. :D
