Served at monty's korner.
It pours a hazy yellow with a slight wispy head. Smell is of belgian wit yeast, citrus, and wheat. The taste is slightly bready to start with a full body. The citrus starts to poke through as the mouthfeel starts to dry at the finish. A little bit of pepper right at the end.
Similar to Ommegang Witte, but not quite as clean and spiced. A decent offering from Magic Hat.

I recieved this growler this week. Poured into a pilsner glass. A thin carbonated head that dissipates. A pale straw color, clear through the glass. The aroma is weak. Not much to pick up. The taste is much like a marco light lager. The lemon and spice you expect just isn't there. The body is thin; it is smooth and not hard to swallow. I prefer many other brews (wits) than this one.

this offering is a golden wheat color, smells like a circus boy, even taste like like it a little. i thought it drinks better than it though. not your typical belgium beer. i liked the light feel and could drink again, even though i dont care for this style.

Filled on 5/16/07; served in a pilsener glass.
Pours a hazy cloud of glowing straw with shades of camel. Quarter-inch high, creamy bright white head that fades to a whispy sheet after a moment. A sheet of webbed lacing is left around half of the glass.
Semi-sweet malted wheat; hints of tropical fruit including melon and honeydew. Musty array of spices: strong corriander and black pepper.
Mildly slick, malt sweetness that lasts for an instant before bottoming out into an astringent, toasted oat flavor. The corriander spice is overpowering and dominant by mid-sip. The finish is dry and powdery with a lingering, yeasty mustiness in the aftertaste.
Light bodied; spicy, dry, and powdery on the palate. More dry than crisp.
An average Witbier in flavor; not quite crisp or refreshing, but not offensive either. Not a rave for Magic Hat, but I've had worse for the style.

Magic Hat recently made this beer their newest of the Wonder Beers. The appearance is a light pale color. The aroma contains hints of spice, likely coriander along with a hint of orange peel. The taste light and crisp and the flavors tend to stick on my tongue. There's also a slight biscuity taste imparted by the wheat. Very refreshing and low in alcohol. Perfect for a hot summer and believe me, the weather here in South Burlington is HOT HOT HOT!
