Purchased as a single bottle from Ingles for $1.50. Poured into a nonic pint glass.
L - Dark gold, with a fluffy two-finger off-white head. Head retains through the entire session.
S - Mango, biscuit, and citron. Pineapple and honey are present. Sweet on the nose.
T - Sweet ruby grapefruit and mango are huge here. Not bitter at all. Finish is an assortment of citrus fruits.
F - Clean. Medium body, light carbonation. Easy-to-drink. Smooth.
O - A great session ale. Complex enough. Easy-to-drink. Will purchase again to keep a pack in my fridge.

From a 12 oz can dated 05/28/2020. Sampled on July 18, 2020.
Basically a copper colored medium amber pour with a bountiful cream colored head. Moderate clarity.
The aroma expresses pine, herbal (oregano, tarragon) characters, toasted bread, vegetable oil, a touch of fruit.
A smooth and medium mouthfeel.
Sweet yet ashy taste. Maybe some vague fruit and herbal characteristics in the end. It did not blow me away but it did not offend me either.

3/31/20...Thick gel like bronze, sediment rich pour. Scant foam atop. Tropical fruit aroma, mostly orange and mango. Bold juicy forward flavor. Light tang. Rind based bitter rounds out. Smooth malty finish. Slightly latent bitter. Very good.

Canned 1/30/20. Poured into a 12oz pint glass.
L: My God. I think I cried when I poured this beer. Beautiful caramel amber color, huge foamy head that laces at the top. Almost perfectly clear. Leaves suds and lacing down the glass as I drink it.
S: Bright tropical fruits and citrus smells like pineapple and mango. Absolutely beautiful. Anticipating sweeter malts.
T: I'm a little bit bummed out. I was expecting something super fruity and juicy, but this has a pine-y, dry, bitter hoppy profile. I agree with it says on the can, the malts are subtler, with some straw notes. It's definitely still delicious, though.
F: Decently well carbonated, but pretty light mouth feel at 4.5%.
This beer is super complex and also really delicious. It packs a bunch of flavor in a 12oz can and is affordable. Would drink again!

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a Sam Adams, Perfect Pint glass; canned on 10/01/19.
A: Pours a hazy, dark amber color with ochre highlights and a foamy, one finger, off-white colored head, decent retention, but somewhat spotty lacing.
S: Odd off note initially, ?sea salt. Aromas resolve to conventional caramel, honey, grapefruit, and pine. Had to strain a bit for those.
T: Semisweet to semidry. The palate certainly follows the nose with a definite star anise note. Low-key bitterness, certainly there.
M: Light to medium bodied with no more than modest carbonation. Frankly, a bit watery.
O: Tastes like a watered down version of something else. If "second presses' were a thing, I would like that is what this was. Bit of a disappointment.

12oz can. BO 1/30/20
Opened and reviewed on 2/25/20
Only the slightest tint of haze within a golden hued copper. Thick and bubbly white foamy dome is clumpy and eventually sparse.
The nose has an interesting fruity/clove and mint leaf hop aroma. Caramel sweet maltiness pushes it's way to the front with ease. I also get annise and Wintergreen.
A rather soft, shall we say...watery, slippery mouthfeel...allows some lightly malted oats and wheat flavors to stand out. Brown rice, mixed herbs and sweet English style malt protrudes furthest.
Spring water with cucumber and straw type flavors ride through in an undercurrent that finishes with a decent earthy afterdraw.

Magic Hat...hmmm, have NOT been overly impressed by their offerings and havent tried one of their beers in quite a while...
Pours out pretty typical almond amber, lasting khaki cap and leaving decent looking low sheeting and spotty lacing.
Muted nose with some malts and resiny hop notes.
More of the same in the mouth, mostly getting some resiny hop notes with a malty under belly...decent in a middle of the road and old school kinda way...meh..

cool to see so much innovation from magic hat this year, that mixed hoppy beer pack of cans is an awesome thing to have for the summer, but this wasnt my favorite of them. its a session pale type, but its maltier and seems somewhat more english and grainy than i want in a beer that im going to be pounding in hot weather. it has some bitterness to the hops too, which is nice for balance, but this isnt the minimalist juicy beer it seemed to present itself as being, at least to me. notes of bitter pink grapefruit here, earthy crystal malt with a touch of oddly longer cooked sweetness to it, and some minerals, even a light metallic thing here, but a pretty clean fermentation. its almost dry by the end, but its already set itself up as kind of heavy for what it is, and it warms up pretty poorly, loosing what refreshment value it had when the can was first pulled from the icy cooler. i guess this one is a little bit lost on me, nice to have a full flavored lower alcohol beer, but this seems a little built up at the same time that the hops are kind of generic. maybe my least favorite of the beers in this mix pack...

12 oz can at the 2019 Dublin Irish Festival.
Overly grassy aroma with a much better and more complex flavor.
Bitter aftertaste with citrus peels.
Smooth, medium-full body with medium carbonation.
