I can see that no one added this beer. It could become a regular beer so it's worth reviewing.
Color: Brownish-copper color with a one-finger head.
Aroma: Malty upfront with biscuit/bread undertones. Somewhat hoppy but not by much.
Taste: Hoppy upfront at first and then fades into a nice biscuity/bready aftertaste. Mildly fruity. Somewhat buttery as well at the back of the throat. Smooth. Pretty much muted per the style.
Verdict: A decent version of an English IPA. Drinkable. I get the vibe that Magic Hat is trying to compete with Harpoon by putting out this test batch. I believe they need to tweak it some more (aroma-wise) and it could be interesting.
