Poured from 12-ounce bottle into a champagne flute. Pale golden colored body, with a brilliant white head that settles to a thin ring within a moment or two. Like Duvine Rouge, this has a pleasant wine-y character. Aromas and flavors of tart apple and citrus, with a hint of minerality reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc. Finish is quite dry and slightly tannic, with a smidgen of fruity tartness lingering on the palate. This would make a fine addition to the holiday table.

-Blonde Ale brewed with Viognier grapes.
A: Golden brass coloring has a faint amount of carbonation with a fair and light haziness. A quickly dissipating covering levels off with only a faint reminder of soft whisper lace marks on the vessel.
S: The grapes come through nicely, tart white wine notes along with some musky barrel notes. Peaches and apples, some yeasty esters, of dry fruit along with some citrus peel.
T: Lots of tart orange and lime highlights the opening flavor along with some wet citrus.Wet apples and pears, juciy along with some white wine hints. Faint whole grapefruit, juicy floral hops, fruity melon, lycee fruit, and white grape skins. Nice tone of flavor, very even toned, smooth, well blended and balanced.
M: Very smooth mouthful, wine like consistency, mid body weight, tart and fruity warmth.
O: Wine cooler, wine sipper, fruity, lightly dry and tart makes for a nice flavor that is smooth and well balanced. A great summertime sipper for the beach or pool side, enjoyable, easy drinking.
