Very nice Polish lager. Kicked up a nice head. Malty flavor profile. Very impressed based on my first taste. A wolf on the front of the can. They rotate the animals on the front.

Thick, crackling, off-white head, bubbly, deep gold appearance, and some lacing. Nose- herbal white bread crust. Taste- even more noticeable herbal quality, with bread crust and low bitterness. Medium body. Crisp finish.

Nice dark golden color, not too much carbonation, just a slightly sweet aftertaste. I like the higher alcohol level, 6.0. A good solid European lager.

Rereviewing again to see if this really is the best Polish pilsner or not. If this is actually officially a pilsner, no idea.
For some reason my zubr has a tiger on, no idea why. He is a very handsome bison.
Pretty standard head and colour for a Polish beer...and aroma.
Not as sweet as most competitors. Simply because of this, it has potential.
Unfortunately the malt is quite heavy and reminds me a little of a mocne beer, and there are yeasty, funky and skunky elements also. Nowhere near as smooth as a Tyskie (which seem to have improved recently), Lech or Zywiec. The hops are a little hidden behind the heavy maltiness, which isn't a particularly pleasant taste at all. At least it's not too sweet and is stronger than most, however overall I'm not a fan.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear golden color with a modest, though lasting, white head that leaves some lacing. The nose gets grains, not completely pleasant. The mouth gets the same - a grainy malty brew.

Clear gold body under a large, fast fading white head with good lacing. Sweet grain aroma meeting up with herbal hops. Malts hold sway on the palate. Spicy, herbal hops add some depth while the bitterness stays under the radar. Moderately carbonated, medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, not too bad as a one-and-done from the local bargain bin.
