Poured into a mug, the appearance was a thick jet pour black color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a slow pace. Mild stringy lace. The aroma had a big robust/roasty rugged coffee beans and grounds flowing into some roasted cocoa beans. The flavor held those previously mentioned aromas to the point and keeping a nice roasty aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Roastiness was there but not distracting. Overall, very nice Irish dry stout well worthy of having again.
