In full celebration of the two most popular hops on the market, Cape Cod Beer weaves together a juicy, hazy IPA that doubles down on Citra and Mosaic hops for a sure fire flavor win.
Narrow Lans kicks off with a deeper honey amber hue than usual before topping off with a creamy tarnish froth. As a plump scent of citrus, stone fruit, berry, tropical fruit and herb align on the nose, the culmination of citronella come to mind. With a sweeter cereal upstart, hints of honey, caramel and granola largely frame the beer's first impressions.
But the attention quickly turns to the hops as the fruit flavors overshadow the cereal and sweetness. Blossoming with branch-ripe tangerine, lime and red grapefruit, its citrus flavors rise first. Not to be outdone, a tropical taste of passionfruit, pineapple and mango offer an exotic fruit flavor. Following up with currant, apricot and nectarine, the hoppy fruit impressions are complete and allow the ale to trend spicy with a hop bite of spruce, sun tea, hemp and verbena.
Medium bodied and sharing a smooth but racy bitterness, the finish comes with a pleasantly crisp, clean and refreshing mouthfeel, and with a medium long extension of peppery resins for a complete IPA taste done in the popular New England brewing style.

Had on tap. Pours hazy, orange gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is pineapple, pine, and apricot. Heavy body bitter with moderate carbonation. Not as juicy as some of the other local NEipas but still very drinkable. I would get this again if I wanted this style.

Cape Cod Local here. I do not consider myself a fan of Cape Cod Beer; they're not bad - I just think almost all of their beers are too tame. However, I tried Narrow Lands on tap at the brewery last night and I was very impressed. The taste is wonderful and it is insanely drinkable, while still packing a big flavor. My only critiques are that is that I think it could use more carbonation and, consequently, the head is almost non-existent, save for an aggressive pour.
It's one of the least expensive four packs out there, while still having great flavor, solid abv, and superior drinkability. Fully recommend.

This was originally a seasonal brew. Now I believe due to the popularity, its about to be an all year brew. Im so excited!

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Long Ridge Wine and Spirits in Plymouth for about twelve dollars. Have had a couple brews from these guys, but don't typically seek out. This was decent, would probably have again.

Sampled this new product at the brewery and was sufficiently impressed that I purchased a few 4-packs of 16 oz. cans before leaving. I have enjoyed a variety of Cape Cod offerings over a period of years but I think this may be their best non-seasonal product to date. Solid New England Style IPA without being excessively fruity. Double dry hopped with 2 of my favorite hops - Citra & Mosaic - and their flavor comes through with each mouthful. Hope this becomes a regular Cape Cod offering.
