Poured into a pint glass--had @ BBC Cedarville
Appearance: 1/4 inch head, hazy, gold in color, medium-high carbonation
Smell: lemon, orange, funk, and pepper
Taste: follows the nose, and the pepper is a bit more dominant--lemon, orange, funk, and pepper
Mouthfeel: sweet and funky, medium-light bodied with medium-high carbonation
Overall: Everything I would want a good Biere de garde to be. Nice peppery taste to this. I think one glass is good at a time as the funk does get to be a bit strong, but I would do this again.

Poured from a 750ml flip-top bottle into a tulip. 408 bottles made total. $15 each at the brewery. For sale at a few shops around Cape Cod as well. Also on draft at a few locations around Cape.
A- Pours a murky amber color, with a nice 1-2 finger head that dissipated to a half finger, which lasted the whole time the beer was in the glass.
S- Wheat, malt, and oak notes. Some orange and lemon.
T- An initial wheat flavor with a slight hint of orange, which turns into a nice earthy, creamy and malty finish.
M- Smooth, and the after taste does not linger too long. Medium carbonation
Overall, an impressive first try at a Bier De Garde by Cape Cod Beer. I have not had too many Biere De Gardes, but this is one of the better ones I have had. I hope CCB continues to expand into different styles.
