On tap at The Stag and Huntsman in Hambledon, Buckinghamshire.
Light gold, slightly hazy, with a thin white head that recedes to a cap leaving no lacing. Light, floral nose. Pronounced lemon flavour with a crisp, dry finish. Light to medium body, slightly chewy, with no carbonation at all.
Nice, light, summer ale.

Tasted by a pint at the John Russell Fox, a JDW pub in Andover. Non-sparkler pour.
A: translucent dark golden in colour, coming with a thin beige froth and a pretty static body.
S: quite sweet upfront, suggesting malt-candy, butterscotch, and some tangerine-flavoured candy as well... slightly too fruity-sweet overall, it's hard to detect a balance.
T: the honeyish and floral taste upfront is backed by a butterscotch edge; clean and crisp hop bitterness with an understated presence of grapefruit-zesty edge lingers, but leaving the floral sweet palate to last until the finish.
M&D: refreshing, softly fizzy, quite fresh against a solid body of flavours. When the nose fails to show a balance, the flavour makes up for it. Overall this is a pretty tasty pale/golden bitter, bursting with pleasant hops and moderate bitterness. In line with many (or most) other Loddon ales, this is a hop feast in a glass (by the English/British standard, if I may say so?)~~ If only it was fresher on cask, I can imagine the hoppiness dancing cheerfully!
