The colour is wine red, the liquid is clear. The very low head is beige. Some lacing occurs.
The smell is mild. Some notes of leather and sweet caramel/toffee. Hints of hops in the background.
The taste is velvety and malty. Some mild sourish notes and a hint of leather. The sweetness (including a fruity note of citric jam) is balanced by clean bitter hints. The aftertaste is malty with notes that reminds me of fruit syrup and matured notes of raisins.
The carbonation is soft. Lots of small light bubbles. The liquid is creamy and a little sticky.
There are lots of flavours in this beer and they play well together. All this at 4.7% abv!
