Clear pale gold with a white collar and sticky lace. The nose was spicy, some cereal grains, light fruitiness. Bitterness was subdued, more cereal and fruit, with more fruit in the finish. Light bodied, moderate carbonation that was short of crisp, off-dry. Not a bad beer, but a poor pils.

On tap at the Bastone Brew Pub.
Poured a lighter and see through golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grass, sweet malts (honey), and a little musty and grainy. Tastes of grass and citrus. Light lacing left on the glass.

Landed quite a bigger punch than I expected. Aroma wasn't too strong, but the flavor is surprisingly complex. Toasted grains with a nice bitter twist. Balanced with some sweet flavors as well.
Exceptionally smooth easy to drink. It's a unique pilsner and not your typical safe take on the style.

Appearance: Arrives with a clear golden color and a one finger head that drops to a ringlet but manages to splash a lot of lace around the pint glass
Smell: Crisp and grainy with cracker malt undertones
Taste: Cracker up front with a growing grainy bitterness by mid-palate; grainy bitterness after the swallow with a hint of residual sweetness that carries through; the finish is somewhat grassy, with a noble twang
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate but prickly carbonation
Drinkability: Crisp and refreshing; a nice rendition of the style

Poured from tap at the restaurant. Nice golden filtered color with a lasting white head. Aromas of Czech hops definitley there but not overpowering. Great full flavor experience with strong hop presence and firm maltiness on a medium body lager. Wonderful crispness with a lingering aftertaste tyhat made me want more and more, which I had. Lace laft on glass.

On-tap at the brewery. No aroma, dark yellow with a lot of lace. Good bitterness and great carbonation, with good yeast and malting. Approaching an American Pale's level bitterness and taste profile. Smooth and it works.Recommended, good craftmanship.
