mild red appearance, with hints of tan and pink as light enters the glass. smells light and fruity, and malty at the same time. taste is very interesting. caramel backbone is there, but it's somewhat faint, and light fruitiness is in the foreground. fruity almost to the point of strawberry, along with citric hops. like light, fruity rosé wine. there's a hint of wateriness that surrounds the beer in the mouth.
there are elements about this beer that i've found unpleasant in other examples of red ales or lagers, but this pulls them all together nicely, and makes for a very nice experience.
