Short Review. This was just ok, it tastes similar to their IPA, but without the bitter hops flavors. Not impressed with this one, but it still wasn't a bad beer.

I had this as part of a 9-serving flight. It was outstanding. Super flavor and very smooth. It really doesn't require 250 words to describe. It only requires one word: "fantastic!"

Bastone's beer always seem to delight me, particularly the darker varieties and trippels, dubbels, dopplebocks... yum!

Hazy red/brown colour with a meager beige cap. The aroma was quite malty, lots of grain and cereal character. Mild bitterness with a lot of malty sweetness and faint fruity hops. Medium to full bodied with low carbonation, slightly syrupy with light alcohol warmth. Not bad, but it seemed a little underattenuated.
