A new seasonal from Bastone. Served in a taster pint glass at the brewpub.
A - Thin white foam with minimal retention and lacing. Lightly transparent golden body.
S - Belgian yeast imparts some peppery and spicy notes. Sweet, sugary malt backbone, and a touch of honey and stone fruit as well.
T - Taste is pretty similar, with Belgian yeast, bread, light stone fruit sweetness, and a bit of sugary pale malt.
M - Medium body, medium-low carbonation, mild grain in the texture, and no obvious alcohol.
D - An adequate Belgian Pale Ale that demonstrates brewing competence but not much much. Easy to drink, but not particularly memorable.
