A really weak attempt at a generally lame beer style, in my opinion. The only decent beers I have had using various pepper varieties as an adjunct came from either Embudo Station in New Mexico (no longer brewing) or Rogue (the Chipotle Ale).
Appearance: Fizzy, pale yellow beer. Like a Bud Light. Moderate head and lace.
Aroma: Fizzy, pale yellow beer. Like a Miller Lite.
Taste: Fizzy, pale yellow beer. Like Busch, with the slightest, faintest, hint of chile.
Mouthfeel: Yeah, sorry, but fizzy, pale yellow beer. Nothing.
Drinkability: I cant imagine giving this beer a second chance.
This is the kind of effort that gives brewpubs a bad name. If they would increase the chile flavor considerably, it would at least be on a level with other gimmick beers of this sort - Cave Creek, etc.

Their fun beer. Surprisingly, for me, not at all a bad tasting beer. This is their Blond ale with the addition of a light chili flavor, along with some undertones of spices (15 IBU). This would actual pair fairly well with a southwest (Texas) platter of tacos or burritos. Dont know about trying to quaff more than one or two, especially on a hot summer day.
