330 ml bottle. Appearance is a cloudy golden tone, topped off with white froth, dissipating quickly. Aromas are muted and subtle, but mainly malty in nature, bread, biscuits and dough. Taste is light, some sweetness over a malty backbone
with an average level of carbonation and a medium body. Easy, smooth drink.

Bottle dated 10/20/15.

Pours a murky gold with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Tiny particles of sediment are seen suspended in the beer after the pour. Smell is of grain, honey, fruit, earth, and grass aromas. Taste is much the same with grass, hay, earth, and fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but not a very good take on the style.

Serving type: bottle.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a web of lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of sweet, biscuity and bready malts are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste of the beer is a little sweet and has flavors of bready malts. No hops are perceptible.
M: It feels a little shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: With the sweetness in the taste, this tastes more like something you would expect from a macro brewery.

This beer is made with 100% Saaz hops and something called "3Decoction mashing." There is a nice funky tartness to this that makes it a pleasure to drink. I'm sure things could be improved, but overall it is a nice tart pils.
