Pours a cloudy orange with a generous tan head that leaves thick lace on the glass.
Nice floral hop aroma comes through strongly among caramel.
Nice sweet malt flavor upfront with an equally present hop bitterness. Very well balanced. Finishes sweet with some hop resins.
Rather drinkable almost falls into British ale category but I feel that the hop character and balance makes it an American pale. Tough call and it's not written on the bottle.
*note* Peruri is "Perry" which is the American ship captain that landed in Yokohama back in the 1850's.
