A: pours light brown color, small tan head, no lacing
S: Sweet brown suggary, fruity smell, bready/yeasty
T: Very sweet up front, reminds me a lot of a sweeter Scottish style ale. Very fruity.
M: Mouthfeel is pretty smooth, goes down pretty easily
D: Pretty good beer, I would probably get this one again. Not right on for the style I wouldn't say but pretty tasty nonetheless.

This winter seasonal in the Belgian dubbel tradition misses the mark by a wide margin. First, itÂ’s served so cold that the beer refuses to show its disposition. But even upon warming Dubbel Whammy is a dud. It has a faint, bready aroma, a chalky, pasty mouthfeel, and shows a turbid apricot color with deceased carbonation. Its flavor eventually stirs some muted fruits but is otherwise bland until closed with metallic bittering. It is anything but spry, tart and invigorating.
Served in a 12-oz. tulip. Tastes like a carpet.
