All that cloudy wheat haze apparent from the beginning on this one. 1/2" white head. Aroma came off as wheat but without the lemon, dry hopping wasn't the biggest in this one.

Taste didn't impart enough hops either. Totally leaned more to the wheat side of things than the hoppy. Not bad, just the name had me expecting more hops. The mouthfeel is the usual pale wheat lighter bodied affair, but packing more bitterness boiled C hops than really anything else. Good not great.

Not a lot of reviews for this brewery, which is a bit of a shame. I stumbled into these year-and-a-half-old notes, and I see I’m the second reviewer of this beer. On-tap in a weizen glass (at Saraveza, if I recall correctly).

Cloudy dull gold body with a white bright head that’s unimpressive in stature, but nevertheless leaves some nice patchy sheets of lacing.

Overall impression: Not a beer I’d seek out necessarily, but it certainly is (was?) on par with the infinitely more famous APWA available down the street. And like Widmer Hef, the aromas are a pleasant if tame yeast/bread/lemon combo. And like that beer, Goldihops tastes a little better than it smells, with a jolt of hoppiness joining in the fun. Not to say they taste the same; in fact, I actually preferred the flavor profile of Goldihops. Medium-thick with a fluffy body in spite of the lowish carbonation. Also surprising is a bit of a prickly parting gift from the hops in the finish. A solid offering from Amnesia.

Another Hopfest 09 beer. Dunno what the style is, I'd describe this is a hoppy hefeweizen.

Good cloudy haze, darker than most in the style. Aroma was good, lacking usual wheat lemon feel.

Taste was very hoppy to style. More than White Lightening, but less than Gumballhead. Bitter, not for your usual hefe fans (hence why it was at Hopfest I guess), but maybe ipa fans might be able to turn their hefe girlfriends on to this with some prodding. Just had lots of flavor throughout, and hey, only $5 for a pint, pretty sweet.
