Poured on tap at Amnesia brewery on Mississippi.
Now this is a very, very nice beer. The folks at Amnesia already had a winner with copacetic, but they upped the ante with dopacetic (sp? I think it had a 'c' in the name not an 's').
Anywhoo... this was a rockstar from the start. This big boy clocks in at a whopping 8% abv (pretty low though for an Imperial IPA - which I think adds to the quality and complexity). Pours a very hazy copper/amber/gold hue with a nice amount of head and excellent retention and lace.
The nose is subtle citrus, spice, and lots of fresh and dried hops. Lovely flavor expanding upon these notes found on the nose. Excellent texture, balance and complexity. It is not a very over the top Imperial IPA but much kicked up over the Copacetic.
Worthy. Oh so worthy.

On tap at the brewery in a shaker pint. Hazy amber with a finger or so of off-white head. Retention and lacing are both on the lazy side, but still give you a little something.
A shaker pint is no way to show off a huge citrusy nose like this. Grapefruit, pineapple and mango seem to be the chief fruity components, but sweeter orange and tangerine linger. As the name would suggest, it seems to be a heftier version of Copacetic, although not necessarily a heavier one. Indeed, it's pretty lively and slippery. The malt profile is lightly toasty and moderately sweet, certainly nothing to bog things down. Adequate carbonation as well. The hops are left to handle their bidness, and let the record show that bidness has been handled. Wildly juicy and fruity, with a bitter undercurrent that's respectable, but not strong enough to hamper drinkability (almost dangerous in that aspect). Another winner from Amnesia.

Served at Saraveza IIPA Fest, 7.16.11., multiple 4 oz samples.
Cloudy medium amber body, faint light tan head, fairly slow dissipation with decent lacing given the serving vessel. Caramel malts and citrusy hops dominate the nose. Taste mirrors the nose, really balanced brew, some grapefruit, I picked up a bit of mango as it warmed. Mouthfeel is medium, fairly dry finish, a bit sticky. A step up from Copacetic ABV wise, certainly some alcohol heat here but not overly much, nicely made, hope they do this again.
