Presentation: 12oz brown twist-off bottle. A bronzed bust of a king looks out towards the drinker. Freshness date clearly marked.

Appearance: Well, it's honey amber in colour to be honest. Semi-creamy, healthy white head with good retention.

Smell: Fruity esters and a barely noticeable hop leaf aroma.

Taste: You can feel the 5.3% abv in this brew as it flows amongst the sweet, sweet malt flavours and finely aged hop flavours and bitterness that lingers while it dries.

Notes: Very well balanced brew. Not much on the honey, as it seems to have turned into alcohol without imparting much flavour (honey tends to act like this unless the quantities are large). Regardless, a most excellent ale!
